The shortage of water increasing in Sydn Sydney
Australia has seen a lot of trouble this year. The country has struggled with bushfires and one of the worst drought in years. However, there is a feeling of fear around the country that things could get worse. The biggest city in the state is facing a problem of water shortage. Just when the town was recovering from the death of four who died in the wildfires, there has been news that water could run out by 2022. The area of Sydney has been under level 1 water restriction since June. This has affected more than five million people. The level one water restrictions stop people from filling water in pools and leaving running hoses unattended. The restrictions have been implemented for the first time since 2003. A drop of even a few percents of water level in dams can make the residents of Sydney face harsher water restrictions.

The Energy minister is expected to face more questioning for presenting wrong travel figures. According to the reports, the doctored figures were not present in the draft, which his department had prepared. The minister who was representing him during the hearing didn’t answer the questions about how such inflated numbers were added and why. Taylor, who is the minister for energy and emissions reduction, is also in trouble because of the revelation his department made about the meeting by someone, which he suggested prompted him to seek meetings with the environment department. The draft letter that his department sent was different from what lord mayor of Sydney received. Taylor has issued an apology over inflated figures to Clover Moore.
