Smokey a proud name of Sydney.
Smokey is a name to grow into and be proud of. Not only are there eight generations of the family behind him, but his name will always remind him of his connection to the land. His mother says it beautifully. The country doesn't belong to us, and it's time every Australian starts to remember that. We are here for a finite length of time. While we all want to leave our children something, it is time to think beyond bricks and mortar and money.
Then we hear about the feeling of a blue gum plantation in Victoria where tall trees inhabited by koalas were logged, and the remains bulldozed, resulting in horrible injuries and deaths of countless koalas. There are landowners and plantation owners who make decisions, managers who organize the work, and people who carry out the instructions, all of whom are culpable and should be charged with heinous animal cruelty.

Street Seen: My style is just exciting things I find in my wardrobe.
My favorite places to shop are I'm really into op-shopping. In terms of favorite places, I don't have one, just wherever I find something I like. Op-shopping is just about looking through every single item [until you find something good]. I admire the style of I am really into Mickey Thompson's stuff. He's an influencer on Instagram. He likes to wear a lot of boots — he's really into those.
My biggest fashion mistake was Man, I used to wear a lot of collared shirts with sweaters, and I'm not sure how I feel about that anymore. When I was a kid, I wore whatever my mum dressed me in. It was very preppy. I still dress like that somewhat — I think I'm even a little bit preppy today. I would never be caught dead in; I can't think of anything.
Breakers' hearts still beating with NBL win over Brisbane.
Import Scotty Hopson lauded his side's resilience after the New Zealand Breakers kept their NBL season alive with a shock 91-87 win at Brisbane's Nissan Arena. The Breakers' season has been one of dramatic twists and setbacks, including the sacking of import Glen Rice Jnr, the release of Corey Webster and RJ Hampton, and the death of team manager Fata Leota. Yet still, they, along with the Brisbane Bullets and Melbourne United, remain in the hunt for the fourth and final playoffs spot after a thrilling road win on Friday.
We've been through ups and downs, we've lost significant others to our team, people who are close to us," said Hopson, whose 31 points powered the upset. We've lost a lot, but we've been resilient. It shows in our effort and plays every time we step on the floor. We're just going to continue to this push down the stretch."
