Every day workers do quite dangerous kind of job. They climb the bridge and hang on the ropes to color some shabby spots and keep it in order. The construction of the bridge is very old. It was changed only once since the very beginning of the twentieth century.
Now the experts are going to provide a new system of care about the Harbour Bridge. And it will be the first changing of its kind for all the bridge's history. The works are about to start and it is expected to be closed for some time in the future.

The latest showers and thunderstorms have created panic and chaos in Sydney recently. Almost eight days have become dark for some districts of the city. About 140 000 houses have been without electricity. The company Ausgrid, which is trying to fix it, said they were doing everything possible.

Sydney’s main Warragamba Dam is at 80.3%, which is almost 20 percentage points higher than a week ago. Prospect Dam is at 87.2%, while Woronora Dam is at 63.6% capacity.

Second man charged for Louis Vuitton ram raid in Brisbane.

Desperate farmers to protest against flawed Inland Rail routes in Brisbane.
According to the reports, more than 200 farmers, along with other community members, are planning to gather in Brisbane to protest what they are calling a flawed Inland Rail route across the Condamine River floodplain. Farmers of Darling Downs will lead the protests. They are calling on the National federal party to rule out the proposed route immediately. They want to government to develop an alternative way as it will have less impact on the $10 billion projects.
The said project will connect Melbourne and Brisbane by a high capacity rail line. Those alternatives include redeveloping the existing rail corridor passing near Warwick, a route through the Felton Valley, and a low impact route mostly through forest country west of Millmerran. A delegation headed by floodplain farmers and Millmerran Rail Group chairman Wes Judd will then meet with Mr. Albanese to further discuss their concerns.
