One of the Sydney couples could not have children because of some illnesses, it would be too difficult for her to carry a child. So the McGowans decided to use surrogacy. They learnt about it much and were advised to try it in Canada as there the system of surrogacy is much more developed. The couple found a woman, Kendal, who agreed to be a surrogate mother. Before Christmas the McGowans received a happy news, that Kendal is pregnant. Later it turned out that a baby would come out with caesarian, and Canada can't pay his medical needs as the baby would not be a Canadian citizen.
The baby was delievered six weeks earlier than had been expected, and was taken into Intensive Care Unit, where he had to stay for some days. Each day cost about $15,000, so till the end the family received a check of $120,000. The McGowans have even created a web site to raise money. Anyway, their baby is healthy, and this is the most important.

The lockout laws in Sydney are almost being lifted. As a result, we are assured renewal of Sydney nightlife
I rarely stay out past midnight these days, so the lockout was never an issue to me.
The real issue to me was - and remains - the pack of drunken 20-somethings, I would occasionally find myself encircled by if I wander out beyond my close-down hour. There is a lot of vomit at the footpath and screaming and young girls and boys. Drunken boys running into oncoming traffic may be due to some stupid dare.
Sydney's nightlife's biggest problem is far broader than the laws which were designed to restrain violence on the streets.
Looking at Melbourne, one only needs to spend a few days there to apprehend just how much better people there have it when it comes to going out, meeting people, and letting one's hair down beyond the age of 35.
