Thank you. Better money
Canadian volunteers dispatched six aircraft for medical supplies and knitwear for wild animals affected by forest fires to New South Wales. But the Australian authorities warn that these expressions of concern may have negative consequences.
All this was intended for a charitable organization that provides support to wildlife rescuers in Australia.
It is striking that such a large-scale manifestation of the participation of not only Australians, but also Canadians.
As a result, Canadian volunteers sent six planes to Australia with handicrafts and medical supplies for animals affected by forest fires.
Canada is not the only country to send such assistance to Australia. But the Australian authorities fear that their good intentions could lead to negative consequences. One organization called for a complete halt to sending assistance.
“Thank you very much for your support, solidarity, kind words and care, and hand-made things sent. We ask you, please do not send anything to Australia anymore,” the organization added.
Parcels from other countries often compete with local rescue operations for airport runways, labor and fuel. This creates additional problems when these resources are insufficient.

Power outrages in Adelaide
Recently severe thunderstorm in Adelaide caused power outrages across all the city. Electricity has been off even in the main hospital in the cities. Numerous surgeries have been cancelled and it caused panic among the staff and patients. Each employee was looking for flashlight.
It is not the first global power outrage in South Australia. Extreme weather conditions, high temperature and thunderstorms affect very much. The electric system cannot bear it. And it is still not the end. Meteorologists inform about more storms along the coast and more rains which will lead to floods. Anyway, such weather has its pluses: it is expected that rains will completely extinguish fires on Kangaroo Island.
Fires in SA continue to burn
These days in Adelaide have been a real trial because of very high temperature. Heat waves came from Western Australia and hit South Australia. This weekend the weather will be changed a little as the humidity is coming from The North. Strong pouring rains with bitter winds are expected in some parts of the state. This can cause local destructions.
Thunderstorms and hail will also take place, which will increase risk of bushfires. Yesterday some large cities have already suffered from big hail.
Strong winds mean faster spreading of fire. Fortunately they will not be as strong as earlier. Anyway, humidity is helping to withhold fires in SA. They are at the level 'very high' now.
