A train disaster occurred with a train traveling from Sydney to Melbourne. Two people died. A train with passengers derailed in Victoria about 45 kilometers from Melbourne.
The train operated Sydney-Melbourne when several wagons rolled off the rails. There were about 160 passengers on the train. Many of them were blocked inside the cars.
Emergency officers and an ambulance helicopter arrived at the scene. The aircraft delivered one victim to a hospital in Melbourne.
Also, four more injured passengers were taken to medical facilities. Their condition is stable.
