The Melbourne Cup won in 2017 by Irish-trained horse Rekindling has been stolen yesterday from the Houdini's café e cucina on the Calder Highway. The burglars break the cafe open and wriggled into it at night. The police said, the thieves have stolen not only the Cup, but all the cash and the cash register. The Cup is a replica, one of those, which are handed to numerous winning owners of horses. Anyway, its price is more than 20 000 dollars. The original belongs to Lloyd Williams and costs approximately 150 000 dollars. From now on it is forbidden to smoke in Melbourne's famous Bourke Street Mall. But the ban does not include e-cigerattes yet, but the law is going to be reviewed, and vaping can also be banned in smoke-free areas. Every year hundreds of thousands short-tailed shearwaters, also known as mutton birds, come to Victoria's coast to breed after a giant journey, which takes two months. The birds spend summer in Alaska and then in the end of September fly 15,000 km to Australia. But this year mutton birds are late probably. For the past 30 years shearwaters have occupied the islands near Port Fairy. The scientists are worrying for the fate of shearwaters. Today before the midday a tram in the inner Melbourne flew off its tracks. There were 25 men and women inside of it, when it happened. Frightened passengers, including a baby, were cast around the tram. It's wonderfully, that neither passengers, nor pedestrians were seriously injured in this crash, which happened in the suburb of Kew today. The accident occured on Cotham Road. Some witnesses said, that it happened because of a white car, which intended to force its way between the tram and a roadworks machine. The driver of the car, who is 74, will be questioned by police, as well as the tram driver. The tram stopped in the yard of one elderly woman.

According to the reports, a 27-year old man has been stabbed in a western Sydney skate park following some arguments with four people. The police said in the statement that the man was at the Endeavour Avenue park in St Clair. Four people approached him, and they have little chat with him.

On a quiet suburban street in Sydney, a dog attacked a 6-yea old girl and a 38-year old man who has been hospitalized following the attack. According to the reports at around 10 am the dog attacked the girl on the driveway of a home on Nurragi Street, Villawood. The man rushed to help the girl, but he also suffered a bite in the ordeal. The council rangers collected the dog following the attack. The little girl was taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead for the treatment of the minor lacerations on her leg. The man was taken to the Liverpool Hospital for the treatment of the injury on his arm. According to the police, the inquiry is still going on.

Swine flu drug 'oseltamivir' will now be available at every drug store
Swine flu positive cases are not being named in the state. The Michigan virus continues to be active. To control the disease, a drug called oseltamivir of swine flu has been excluded from schedule X and included in H-1. With which drug will be easily available at every drug store. Previously it was mandatory to get a license to sell swine flu medicine.
Dr. KK Sharma, Director (Public Health), Medical Department, has instructed the officials to screen the family members coming in contact with the patient and give them Temi flu medicine immediately. This year, 208 people have died of swine flu positive in the state this year. According to the current data, Rajasthan is number one in swine flu in the country. Jaipur is positive in number and Jodhpur in death is number one.

- Separate registration counters at AOPD for cold, fever patients
- After examination with pulse oximeter, if patient is less than 92% of oxygen saturation, admit the patient as suspicious
