Prisoner may cancel his life sentencing
In 1998 two police officer were allegedly killed Jason Roberts in Melbourne. Four years later the man was forced to serve a life sentence in prison. Recently more facts about the murder have become known. Now judges assume that two men were involved into the case, the documents could have been mixed up. Police workers could also create false documents to accuse the man. So, Roberts will be allowed to lodge an appeal and can shorten his terms in prison. However, the date of hearing is still unknown because of the coronavirus pandemic. Victoria Supreme Court is still on a holiday.
