Fire on Brisbane’s Bayside: Man dies aft Brisbane
Sandgate, Brisbane: A house fire was reported in the morning around 11 am. A fire broke out in a duplex, due to which the Queensland’s Fire and Emergency Services were called.
Firefighters were able to get the blazing fire under control before the unconscious man was located inside the house.
According to the QFES Inspector Simon Evans, the man was found inside his washroom in a frozen state. As informed by the firemen, they had to fight the massive blaze, before they could reach out to the casualties.
60-year-old man was unable to revive, even after paramedics performed CPR for 30 minutes.
The fire had severely damaged the adjoining duplex, resulting in no such casualties.
The cause of the fire remains suspected and under investigation.
