Brisbane’s Protest: Results in slowed Do Brisbane
Tank St, Brisbane: ‘Slow Ride’ Protest rises in the city on a busy working day, resulting in a disappointed mob.
Activists came out on streets with bicycles resulting in a slow start to the day with jam-packed roads, fast cars, excess traffic and struggle.
More than a dozen activists were seen cycling along Tank St. around the Kurilpa Park.
The leading cause and motive behind the whole morning show were to bring Changing Climate to people’s notice. They even staged a die-in performance depicting the future state of the world if people keep on neglecting the changing environment.
The outcome of the protest was frustrated people, massive social media coverage; entirely against the protest and disrupted the daily working of the city.
Tony Fleming, Queensland Police’s Acting Chief Superintendent added, more disruptions are expected throughout the week.
