Attack on a firefighter in Adelaide
Yesterday police and firefighters were called to one of Adelaide suburms before 5 AM. It was known that a car was on fire. Firefighters came to the place and when thay were doing their work, some man slipped into their car and tried to use it. When one of the workers came up, the man hit him. The firefighter did not get any serious injures, dut the 37-year-old attacker is expected to be accused in several charges. The fire has been succesfully extinguished and have not reached the home.
Other fire took place at that very day in the other part of Adelaide. The owners of the house just forgot to switch a burner off and fire quickly spread around the yard. Damage is half a million dollars.

Autistic teenager in Adelaide brought a bomb to bus
It has become known recently that a 17-year-old autistic teenager, whose name is unknown, brought a pipe bomb to the bus with other passengers. Yesterday he faced the court where he said, he felt great remorse. The teenager thought he would renew his connection with friends by this but now, he says, he feels only disgust to himself. He adds he did not understand to what consequences it might lead at that moment.

Lack of resourcing in SA hospitals
Adelaide's and South Australian hospitals have faced the problem of lack of resources at their working places. Some months ago more than 200 doctors of childern's hospitals wrote a letter, where they ask about the improving of resourcing system and increasing staff level in hospitals. Since that there has been no reaction, so the doctors started to bother. They say they really care about the conditions in which they work and the service they give. Some of the doctors are going to leave their working place.
However, the director said this situation is not crucial. And the wave of quits are not expected to affect the medical system very much.

Banana man's attack
Two men who performed at Adelaide Fringe have started a conflict recently. One of them was a man who performed as a Banana Man. He argued with the other one about racism and then took off his ukulele and broke it. After that he hit his rival with this broken ukulele. Witnesses filmed this incident and shared in a social media.
Police arrested the attacker and said this man has a long history of crimes and is described as a violent person. He has been refused bail and is expected to face the court. It is also known that the attacker had some drug addiction and psychiatric problems.

All flights from Adelaide to China are cancelled
The only airplane from Adelaide to the Chinese megalopolis Guangzhou has been cancelled because of the growing coronavirus panic. Moreover, the flights are cancelled till summer. The airplane used to travel from Adelaide to China and back about 5 times a week.
It was the only connection between China and South Australia and it has been cancelled by China. The Prime Minister said it can be very uncomfortable for the state, though no one knows to what this will lead. The tourism sphere is going to be affected.
Anyway, flights between China and Sydney, as well as China and Melbourne exist, so the tourist can reach Adelaide. But these flights are also limited because of the ban, announced by the Prime Minister.
New AFL's headquarters
Adelaide football club was going to change its headquarters to another place and has chosen the area of the water park. In return the council said that such parks are dedicated to people and their rest and advised AFL to change their mind. They added the government has to interfere with the case as they are able to change it. However, the state Prime Minister refused to take part in this conflict. The director of AFL said they need a new place and to renew public places. He adds that anyway they would rent this area, as this is a place for public.
Rusty rifle killed a man
In 2017 two men went to one of the South Australian forests not far from Adelaide. One of them found there an old rifle, which is older than 100 years. The rifle was so rusty and defective that it shot by itself and injured another man. He died at the place.
Yesterday the court about this case happened. The judge said it was evidently seen that the gun could be dangerous and could shoot by itself. The man who had found the gun is called Hayden Fenton and he is accused in killing his 21-year-old friend. It is still unknown, what punishment threatens him as the court have not decided it yet. This week the jury is going to visit the place of the man's death.

Detonating WWII bombs in Sydney
Recently Sydney police have discovered bombs of World War II period in one of the multistorey building. Yesterday officers were called to this house in the eastern suburbs of the city after discovering the weapon there. It is not known where exactly it was found and how it turned up there but officers suppose it was made during WWII.
Australian Defense Force decided to explode it under their control at one of the Sydney golf courses. Some people have been even evacuated. The visitors of the club were not panic-stricken. Then policemen were coming out of the course with sand bags.
Perth Glory secured second place as Roar snatch draw.
Brisbane Roar underlined their position as the A-League's comeback by denying Perth Glory again. A roar broke Glory hearts by salvaging a 1-1 draw in the opening round. Sydney tribute to the died in bushfires
Yesterday Sydney residents honoured memory of those who died in the terrible bushfires in 2019 and at the beginning of 2020 in New South Wales and all other states. Fire broke out in Ambience mall
On Saturday morning, a mini restaurant located on the fourth floor of Ambience Mall caught fire, causing panic in the mall.
